EXPLORING DENVER

We hope you have a great couple of days exploring Denver! Here are a few recommendations for some of our favorites spots for food and drinks.

LODO (Lower downtown)

Tavernetta - The spot of our first date! It's a bit pricier, we recommend sitting at the bar for a glass of wine and some apps. If you're into olives they are a must!

Mercantile - One of our favorite places to escape the office for a nice lunch. If you do the fixed price (recommend!) the burger and fries are top tier!

Sam's No. 3 - Classic diner and one of our go-tos on a weekend morning. Pro tip, skip the line and sit at one of the counter stools. If you order the breakfast burrito beware, it's GIGANTIC.

BALLPARK

Marco's Coal Fired - Good pizza can be hard to comeby around here but Marco's is one of our faves and is even recommended in the Michelin guide.

Aloy Thai - Best Thai food in Denver and our go-to takeout spot when we're feeling lazy. A bowl of panang curry is the perfect dish on a winter day!

RINO (River north)

(our neighborhood!)

Death & Co - Great cocktail bar in the Ramble hotel. Unique drinks and a great food menu. Don't skip the chocolate chip cookies, Matt has voted them Denver's best!

Work & Class - Funky spot built out in a shipping container. Chef Dana Rodriguez is a local star and her food is delicious and memorable. We eat here often when we are too tired to cook for ourselves.

Port Side - Located next door to Work & Class. Matt is a regular here thanks to the great breakfast burrito and phenomenal coffee. Say hi to Chris, the owner and chef behind the counter.

Corsica Wine Bar - Fun small plates, great for trying and sharing, and a lengthy wine menu. It's a cute atmosphere (for the girlies) and great for happy hour or dinner.
